Kamil Zalewski

After graduating from Warsaw University of Life Sciences in 2013, I gained 7 years’ experience in emergency cases, surgery, and internal medicine, working in large, busy 24/7 veterinary clinic in Poland. I went on to complete a 3-year postgraduate surgical certificate in small animal surgery.

Ellie Amos

MRCVS

I graduated from the University of Nottingham Veterinary school in 2021. During my studies I developed an interest in Dentistry and Exotics. I have developed my knowledge in these areas ever since.

I have a Golden retriever and two Maine coons, and in my spare time I take the cats on walks with the dog.

Rebecca Smith

BVetMed MRCVS

I qualified as a vet in 2006 from the Royal Veterinary College. I enjoy all aspects of my job, from meeting owners and their animals, to carrying out various surgeries.

Outside of work, I am kept busy looking after my two young sons. I also enjoy playing tennis and walking my two dogs, Nu and Nelson, in my spare time.

Lindsay Barker

I have been a qualified veterinary nurse since 2006 and have always enjoyed working with animals. I particularly enjoy helping in theatre, anaesthetics, and looking after the patients in recovery following their surgery or illness. Outside of work I am kept very busy by my three children, three cats and one very cute lurcher puppy.

I’ve been in practice since 2016 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2020. I have a keen interest in dentistry and nurse clinics. I absolutely love the different caseloads each day brings and meeting new clients. At home, I have two cats and a dog who are all very cheeky, but wouldn’t be without them!

My name is Amber, I am a second year student veterinary nurse and have loved my training so far. I have an interest specifically in anaesthesiology and feel privileged to work with animals every day. In my spare time I enjoy going on walks and getting time to snuggle with my cat and read.

I’m Lucy and I work as a veterinary care assistant at Star Vets. This is a job I really enjoy. I have an NVQ level 3 in animal management and have worked with animals since leaving college. In my spare time I love going for long walks with my 2-year-old jack russell, Lily.
